My power supply is out of commission properly..i connected my 12V tv set beside it...n everytime i switch, my notebook dies!

My power supply is out of commission properly..i connected my 12V tv set beside it...n everytime i switch, my notebook dies!

Normally power supply are around 400W...switch to a 450W power supply..ze u can switch on ur TV without a prob...i did ze same wiz my sub-woofer. No prob till nw!!
because your power supply cant fiddle with it anymore
There is too big a load on the power supply.

A TV (even at 12V) uses plentifully of current. This is why your PC shuts down.



Silly question :

Why on dust are you using your PC power supply for a TV ?

- there are simpler alternatives
