mic is a logitech desktop microphone 600. plugged it surrounded by, nothing..sure requirement help. am intensely dumb with a computer.

Need to hook up microphone, can you oblige?
Open the volume control (near the clock on the bottom taskbar) & remoce the mute checkmark from microphone.
