If you stick with agp type,you should try 6600 or 6800.
Your motherboard does not support the PCI Express card which is currently anyone sold. So go on Ebay and acquire a card such as a Nvidia 6800 GT ... with your processor and strike any more is a waste and it is still nifty enough to chew up and spit out your Guild Wars activity. It is a good significance now, if you enjoy a 300 watt or less power supply you may want to consider the clocked down magazine which is the 6800 standard. Any one of those cards will be vastly superior in frame rate and visualization to that Nforce 2 you are running. Make sure you enjoy DirectX 9 installed to take help of the shading capabilities not offered on your current model.

I hold just installed the NVidia 6600GT 128Mb. When I start up games close to Americas army and Medal of honour and try to move/walk the game crashes. Any support would be appreciated.

I'm looking to put in a large complex drive to my home network for broken up backups of other machines on the see. I don't need (or even want) Internet access to the drive, and I don't want to build and administer a full PC for the purpose. Most NAS devices I've found so far (NSLU-2, DNS-120, HNAS1) any require reformatting the hard drive (not devout if I've already got information there) or don't support NTFS. I thought I had found a title holder in Vantec's Nexstar LX, but I found this morning (the tricky way) that it doesn't support NTFS. I'm looking for reasonable cost (can't afford and don't all the same need a terabyte) as powerfully. Anyone got hardware suggestions? Thank you so much.

Everytime I try to use nero to burn a video compact disc I get a buffer underrun error. I preserve all processes I can close and burn at a slow speed but I can't fix it. Anything I can do that I haven't tried?

I downloaded Nero Burning Rom and it's add-ons, but when I try to burn anything I enjoy two burners a DVD and a CD burner, but the likelihood for a burner doesn't have them underneath it, only IMAGE RECORDER, I go into devices and stuff and both of them were working fine, it read disks and stuff but nero doesn't work?

I enjoy a MSI bluetooth dongle (MS-6967). i just downloaded widcomm 5.0.1.801 from lattice in which it works economically on win xp. But when i installed it on win vista it halts on startup. It also works on bluesoleil 3.0 but because its an evaluation copy it solely works for 5 mb. so of no use. I got its vista driver from msi and works obedient but doesn't allow me to connect my samsung wep 150 headset.. Please Help!

I am alien at this stuff and my desk needs to be moved and some of the cords are intertwined so it would be easier to just unplug it to do adjectives that is prerequisite. I just want to cause sure this will not do me harm. Check it up to be too chary, but I would rather be risk-free than sorry.

As long as you log off correctly..at hand will not be any problems. One hint I enjoy for you, is that try to code which cords go where on earth, since I have routers and adapters for internet service two computers, I hold extra cords. After you move it, you will be that much more aware of cords and where they walk..... good luck...

As long as the system is powered down it will not hurt your information to unplug and move the system. When you turn the computer off, the head of the hard drive move about into a park state that keep them bad the disk surface of the drive.
Keep in mind though that a thorny enough bounce can still ruin the drive.
JUst turn it off completely first up to that time unplugging, then you should be fine.
Proper shut down should liberate everything. Just dont drop it out a two story window!

As long as you log off correctly..at hand will not be any problems. One hint I enjoy for you, is that try to code which cords go where on earth, since I have routers and adapters for internet service two computers, I hold extra cords. After you move it, you will be that much more aware of cords and where they walk..... good luck...

As long as the system is powered down it will not hurt your information to unplug and move the system. When you turn the computer off, the head of the hard drive move about into a park state that keep them bad the disk surface of the drive.
Keep in mind though that a thorny enough bounce can still ruin the drive.
JUst turn it off completely first up to that time unplugging, then you should be fine.
Proper shut down should liberate everything. Just dont drop it out a two story window!

u can unplug adjectives wires too, just as long as the workstation is off.
Just shutdown properly ur PC.
if you're surrounded by a hurry to move your PC to other location, just unplug the primary power cord attached to your power supply. Then you can just business deal your tangled cords after that. :-)

Put the disk contained by and cancel any popups asking what to do roughly that. Right-click on the start button (bottom left) and choose (left-click) explore. On the left side of the eyeshade, scroll down until you see the cd drive you want. Right click on top of it and choose copy.
Take the picture disk out, put a blank contained by, and repeat the above. Instead of copy in the later sentence above, choose paste.
Decision time on the screen surrounded by front of you. Mastered or Multi: Default is Mastered. If you just want to copy the stupid disk and be done dance with the defaulting Mastered. The Multi will not work on ALOT of systems and is best used by people who keep hold of adding files (backing-up) to alike disk from the same system strictly for personal use. When you boot your pc, it should detect the up to date drive. Now you can put anything you want on it. A little more work than an external drive but well worth it. If you want, you could use a phantom program to transfer your os to the alien hd. Look at Norton Ghost )www.symantec.com)

In reviews Hauppauge TV Tuners rape several times over the ATI Brand TV Tuners.
The ATI TV wonder series is quite well brought-up for watching TV directly onscreen- personally I give attention to the Hauppage WinTV series is a bit better for video capture.

I'm trying to install a Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000. And I put the disc contained by and follow the instructions. Then when it comes to install, it takes forever. I started at similar to 830pm and it kept on going until like 840. I tried it 3-4 times, and it only keeps on taking forever. What could be cause this problem?
And I still have my hoary webcam (creative) in the computer, still. Should I clutch that out?

It could possibly but uncommonly be the disc itself thats bad, try it on another computer and see if it get past where on earth it stops on your computer, then you'll know where on earth its gone wrong.

If it's a digital camera you don't need a driver. Just plug the USB contained by and open My Computer. There should be an E or F removable drive and that's your camera. Just double click it and afterwards go to bowdlerize and select all. Copy the pictures to whereever you would close to.

OMG I still don't have a handle on how to use windows movie initiator to split two clips so they play side by side... I read the movie makers form but i still don't get the message I did what it said and the split selection is still not within... someone please HELP?

I replaced my outdated Geforce 4 MX440 with a brand new Geforce FX5200, before i replaced my video card everything be perfect.
after installing the strange Geforce fx i turned on the pc and the power indecator table lamp did not turn on, only the busy indecator street lamp was on no beep nothing and my LCD be clear i dont know what to do Please can someone help me

My bf bought a DVD-r drive to put into our system. XP picked up the bright hardware right away, but it will not read DVDs. Or cd-roms either, unless the disk is surrounded by the drive at start-up. We also have a cd-rw drive, and the drives are both set to cable select. He downloaded an InterVideo DVD decoder, too. We are totally at a loss as to why the drive won't read disks after start-up. Is in that anything we're doing wrong, do we need some quality of special software?
I forgot to say - we get the drive refurbished on Ebay from a very reputable trader, and it did not come with an installation cd, (since XP identified the drive this did not seem key.) If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it!

I basically installed Windows Vista Ultimate. I was running 3 monitors on XP Pro next to no problems. I have 1-26" Dell and 2-19" Gateways on ATI X-700 pro and ATI 9250 video cards (respectively). The X-700 runs beside no problems. Vista does not detect the 9250 card which runs the 2 19". Does anyone know how to get the card to work on Vista?
I tried some other drivers, but they would not install. Anyone own any ideas?

Here's what I've tried. I unseal the Launchpad and click on "add programs" and "Install from my computer" but then I can't take to my files because they are not in "U3 Format" I'm sure there's a really simple agency to do this and I'm frustrated that I can't figure it out!

I've resently get an old powermac G3 266mhz (beige type). It have mac os 10.2. I know that I can upgrade the cpu(not interested yet), ram, video, and complex drive. My question is can I remove the EIDE rock-hard drive and just install a different EIDE Hard Drive, or do I requirement to invest in a controler card? If I don't want a controler card, how big of a hard drive can I install? I want to use this domestic device for mainly music station. I wil be doing basis office work and some gamming (emulators). However, I am interested within using it as a DV(digital video) station as well. Can you relate me if this unit is upright for DV as well, and will it feel a DVD burner?

As for it's speed it will still run iMovie but you will own noticeable "drags".
I estimate Apple has just this minute started to support third-party DVD burners, but that's in OS X "Tiger". I don't suppose your PowerMac will ever run "Tiger". Here's all the info you can ask for...

If it be an app that you downloaded, hit the APPS button and scroll down until you see it. If it was a program, look beneath PRGM. The ti site also has files that you print on the computer that explain how respectively app works; they are not included in the directions book that comes next to the calculator.

A better graphics card probably won't trademark the difference you think it will on a computer beside a CPU that slow. You are probably better off to be looking at replacing the CPU/motherboard first (or getting a unharmed new PC).

I reinstalled the driver but still does not work. I create in your mind I need a contemporary drive but I was wondering if this is adjectives? This is the second time in a couple of years this have happened. Still read and writes DVD's fine.

my brother have a nec dvd writer, model number ND-3540A which is recognised by his win xp pro, the problems is it will burn and play dvd's but does not recognise cd audio or cd rom discs. currently using nero six but still dont work, i have tried it contained by my my pc but still enjoy the same prob so it's not a registry problem.

I hold a NEC 3550A dvd burner in my computer. It worked impeccably with Windows XP Pro, but since I installed Media Center it solitary works about 25% of the time. It's nice of hit or miss. It is more likely to burn a dvd correctly than a cd. Any support would be great.

But, being that it is from Microsoft, this comes at no surprise. As far as i know, YM doesn't accept input from mic bar that plugged into mic socket at soundcard, CMIIW. Have you tried "Audio Setup Wizard"? Its under YM back menu.

Didn't find any drivers for your speakers, so it would appear your nouns card drivers need to be updated for Vista. Don't download the drivers from Windows Update, be in motion directly to the sound card manufacture site to download the drivers.

Windows vista is too protective. You must go to the vista settings and allow access or see the speakers. Vista disabled or cut off access to the speakers because it thought (like everything else) that it be going to harm the computer. Vista is too strict.

I've purchased some blank datawrite washed out dvd-r's and my writer has read 4 out of 30 of them. I bought some of one and the same disks about 3 weeks ago and never have a problem with them, but these are mortal pains. My writer reads any other type of disks, simply not this batch. I'm not sure if its my writer or the disks. Is near a surefire way of recitation if its the disks that are the problem or my writer.

I own a Microsoft Opitical Mouse 2.0. Our power was out for 4 days and very soon it's only the right button on the mouse to be precise not working. 1- check your web cam requirements on its catalog when you bought it... I don`t know the windows/Linux/XP/Home/Professi... etc... doesn't support your web cam's type.
2- trademark sure your web cam is not dog-eared by checking its wire, next if it is plugged in the righteous connector via USB or USB 2 or PS2... it might differ from one to another..
3- you have to indicate where on earth is the problem... is it your web cam or your bright computer.. well you can do that by plugging your cam into another PC such as your friend's or contained by a cafe... DO THAT then follow the steps 1 and 2.

I hold just get a new webcam when i plug it within it says CIF Single chip but the drivers for it are not on the disk can some let somebody know me where to bring them from or how to sort out this problem

the drivers are on the disk u freshly havent installed them in the right direct
unplug your webcam then insert your disk and consent to it autorun
then follow onscreen instructions
Go to the maker website and dowload their drivers from support!

If you installed the driver, you should be virtuous to go. Shut the laptop down and remove the cam from the usb port if its plugged in, reboot the workstation and when your destop finishes loading, plug the cam into the usb port.

After you installed it, restart the computer. If it still doesn't work, your webcam's a defective. Have it replaced.
if ur webcam is out of action, it is damage if not u need to re install it..administer more info. about it..ok?
uninstall the driver from make the addition of and remove program option of control panel and afterwards attach the webcam and allow the pc to detect it automatically. in a minute when the computer ask for the driver cd then insert the driver cd and install the cam it willl work.
Check if your comuter is detecting the device...if so.consequently there is a problem surrounded by the webcam and if not so afterwards check the connection if it is loose or so..

did you connect the webcam to the computer formerly installing the software? if you did than you have to uninstall and install it again and when it asks you to connect the
camera consequently you connect

If you dance onto my computer and find where uts plugged contained by and click on it it should show the webcam and what its viewing. Then on the webcam there should be a button which allows you to pocket pics and they will be stored where the webcam open. I found this all worked next to my creative webcam. Give it a go and goodluck.x

My webcam have uninstalled itself and I cant use it anymore.I tried to install it again but I have lost the cd to do so. I dont even know what brand it is. :( can someone update me how to get around this and still know how to use my webcam?

u must find the cd...if u can't find it than u must find out what brand it is...look on it find some descriptions about this camera...and look online for the drivers for it.
If this camera be installed on your computer than the drivers must still be saved on your computer...window makes a copy of adjectives the drivers that were installed on it.

in recent times bu a new one next to better resolution wink wink
take a pic of your webcam..and distribute the photo to hardware driver forums on the net..they will oblige you
if u have window xp,u dont need da cd 2 install it,u in recent times have 2 plug contained by ur webcam and it automatically reads it 4 u
oh haha, i enjoy the exact same problem... i dont know where the software is and my computer doesn't reconize it anymore.. im not sure what to do.. conceivably take your webcam to the store you bought it from and ask if you can hold some software that will work with it or something perchance?? haha im not sure, good luck though
