My Realtek Ac'97 audio device is out of order.?

Says This device cannot start. Error Code 10 although I hold installed re-installed its drivers a lot various times. I tried searching for the drivers, downloaded them and installed them but its still out of use. Please help out.

There was a MS update that messed up the realtek drivers. Although it usually manifest in a win32 .dll error. It couldn't hurt to try the fix at that website though.
Have you get the latest drivers from the internet (windows update should find them for you if you run it manually. Start menu - adjectives programs - windows update)?



If so afterwards i need more info.

-What journal of windows is it? (if window at all)

-Has it been working previously

-What change have you made just this minute

-have you had any other error messages.

-A bit of broad info about the computer wouldn't hurt any eg CPU, RAM etc.
