You probably enjoy better than even chance it will be ok if you did not hold it connected when it was raining. Open up whatever is unforced if possible, afterwards use a blow dryer on warm (not hot) aimed directly at it. Leave it on while you do your other things for conceivably 1/2 day.



The aim is to dry everything inside so there is no moisture on the little printed circuit board. If you spilled coffee or some drink on it, cause sure the usb connector contacts are not coated. Then you can try it again.

Dry it and see if you are Lucky...



remove the shell, dry it for 2 or 3 days at around 75F, and connect it and see...
Let it dry out for at least three days and hope is adjectives you can do.
If it possible, open the drive's shield, dry it by smooth rag. If it doenst work, it resources your drive is completly broken and all notes cannot be read again.
try a microwave oven... oh, no, no, wrong window, sorry.



to be precise, in that is a very low opening that you'd get it working. be sure that you've lost adjectives the data. in a minute open the satchel and let it sunbath -- no creams though, ok? after 2-3 days electronic components come across to dry up properly. then might of late work fine. if it doesn't, are you over your warranty period?



i should put in the picture you, most usb drives are waterproof in this day and age. if they get into dampen, just shaking out the sea works fine.
