my usb ports wont work what can i do?
.. if they be working before but not presently then travel to device manager and uninstall them later reboot ... that will let window reinstall the drivers sometimes they get scrambled .. .. if you in recent times reinstalled windows you may call for to go to window update or load them stale your motherboard cd.
make sure you hold installed motherboard drivers for them. Some boards need you to install them separately.
you can other cry.
i f ur using xp there are no seperate driver for usb try another device and check the cable.
install proper driver for ur usb device
not really hear of the usb ports failing before, but try your systematic information booklet supplied with your workstation or laptop, or contact the helpline from the software makers, or progress to a local computer wiz shop, good luck :)
Like others own suggested it might be the driver, but USB ports might start malfunctioning and having turns if you own got a bit power consuming devices attached to them or if you have get all your USB ports used up. The solution to this problem is to buy a USB hub, which give you extra USB ports on only one USB port on your PC, but it also give the USBs attached to the hub a constant power supply from the mains so the USB devices are not relying on the PC's power but the D. Hope it helps.
you may requirement to enable them contained by your bios
press delete while pc is starting up travel through the menus until you find one that says see usb
