My vid cam doesn't connect to my PC?

I run a firewire between the PC and cam.

It picks up the cam, but I can't connect to it.

The cam deity appears but when I connect with Nero or Win Movie Maker it say it can't connect to the cam

I have used this cam on 3 other pc's near no probs.

It's a panasonic NG-GS65

have you tried uninstalling the device, unplugging it from the computer, afterwards reboot, don't insert the usb yet but put the cd that come with the device contained by the computer let it runs its course of installation and keep on to enter the device when the cd or installion program ask for you to enter it.



Also you might check online to see if there are any unusual drivers for the device you bought, go to the website of the company that made it.
