You have need of a DVD burning software to burn DVDs, I recommend AVS Video Tools to you, this software can convert video to DVD format and help you burn to DVDs, I other use it to make home DVD and keep watch on with my DVD player, works fail-safe, here is a guide about it

You can download this software free from here

2.Rip DVD and convert video files

3.Cut unwanted parts and TV advertisings

4.Convert video content for DVD/MPEG-4 players

5.Transfer video from DV cams

6.Make Flash SWF, Real Video or WMV movies

7.Convert video to audio tracks and images

8.Enhance your movies and Multilingual support

9.Batch mode Video Converter
That could be hardware, software, your actual os/computer, etc.

Re-Download the drivers/software for it, try to remember if you installed any cloaking device for the burner to be invisible.

And brand name sure the discs are actually blank!
check the nouns of both drives there should be a master the other drive must be jumperd to slave do this this by moving the pullover pins to the designated one.
