my notebook is not be detecting cdrom i unistall & also it detect again but shows that hardware will not work ?

i also enjoy restart the computer but with like peas in a pod problem is having it is detecting but also motto hardware will not work properly and i cannot find driver of cdrom it

Do you see the mention of each of your Drives( including Hard Disk Drive and Floppy Diskette Drive ) at POST / Boot Up ?



Have you set the Jumpers on the backbone of each Drive to select its status so as to be predictable by the Computer ? This means that one of the Drives own to be Master and the other one a Slave.
