I think the best you can hope for is to tolerate it dry out completely and hope it may start working again, otherwise, I don't think it can be repaired, you own to remember that washing powder is corrosive, so I infer it will be well and truly worn out beyond repair, sorry.

go and buy a trial one
blow dry it and when its fully dry see then if it don't it wont ever work possibly try taking it to a computer place but i doubt it
put it in the oven and take off it in at hand until you are sure that it is dry inside out and then lift it out and use it to see if it does not work, then start abiding money fo rthe next one. And this is no prank i read the same piece in an article on yahoo to use for the cell phones to be treated this path.

probably not, but possibly you could recycle it as a switzel stick
it will take time simply let it dry out
